  2.                    GT POWER users: Please note
  3.  
  4. Paul Meiners, author of GT POWER, has stated that it contravenes his wishes
  5. to distribute other than the April 1987 version of DSZ with GT13.00. This
  6. version of DSZ is no longer supported by the copyrightholder, Omen Technology,
  7. and the author, Chuck Forsberg. Mr. Forsberg states that it has never been and
  8. is not now acceptable for any version of DSZ to be distributed without providing 
  9. the documentation and making ZCOMM available as shareware. Mr Forsberg has not 
  10. received compensation for distribution of DSZ from Mr. Meiners.

  12. In the interest of users who prefer to make their own choices, and in respect 
  13. of the wishes of both authors, I have removed DSZ.EXE from the GT13.00 package.
  14. I urge you to obtain and register the latest version of DSZ, which is currently 
  15. dated 10-6-87, and the latest version of GT POWER, which is version 13.00. If 
  16. you implement Zmodem and Ymodem-G with GT 13.00 you should understand that 
  17. registration of GT13.00 DOES NOT register DSZ, and vice-versa.

  19. DSZ is a superb protocol driver. It has many options that make other programs 
  20. pale by comparison. It is a shareware offering. The latest versions of DSZ.COM 
  21. and ZCOMM, Mr Forsberg's excellent command-driven communications program, 
  22. are available from my BBS. Documents for each are included in archive files.

  24. GT POWER is an excellent menu-driven communications program. The shareware
  25. offering has a usage counter installed; a key which allows unlimited uses is
  26. provided upon registration of the program. The latest version of GT POWER is 
  27. always available from my BBS. The BBS operates using GT POWER 13.00.
